Watch out, here's something very special for you!
Usually Christine draws all of the Create A Smile stamps herself, but with this set we just had to make an exception. One fine day, Uwe Wobser, the illustrator of this stamp set, suddenly appeared in our studio. In his luggage he had a notebook full of self-drawn images, all on the subject of coal mining. He suggested that we add these images to our product range as a special edition because his daughter had been looking for stamps on this topic but did not find any. After a short time to think about it, it was clear to us: we have to do that!
Uwe himself worked in the mining sector and his experiences are reflected in the cute, but at the same time authentic motifs. We also found that his illustrations fit our Ruhr area dialect stamps perfectly. It quickly became clear to us that “dat passt!”.
Celebrate this exciting piece of history of the Ruhr area (and other regions of Germany!) with us.
