Urban skylines, such as those in New York, Shanghai or London, are often very well known. Such huge megacities are often elevated to supposed icons, but if you take a closer look at these places, you will notice that not everything that glitters is gold. Architectural beauty often lies far away from the noise and dirt of big cities, namely in the tranquility of small towns and picturesque villages.
